Nooo, not repentia. Replace these with zealots. For 270 points, you'll get more than twice as many wounds, and the models with the evicerators will get more attacks each too.
I'd either mount your sisters, or make the squads larger. They're more efficient in using faith points that way. You're extremely light on anti-tank - one lucky shot will destroy your exorcist, and then you have none. You might give some of the sisters meltaguns instead of flamers. flamers are hard to use effectively without transports anyway. Plasma weapons on your veteran superiors are iffy too. Nothing as disappointing as losing a 30+ point model to an overheat. Books of St. Lucius are solid wargear. The power weapon on the canoness is a poor choice - she's only Str 3. A blessed weapon is a much better choice, she can actually take on squads of marines that way. There is no reason to put smoke on an exorcist. If something can hit you, you can hit it. You're better off firing than smoking, and since it's an either-or proposition, might as well cut the smoke. |

The power-gamers test doesn't do well to apply to an army like the Sisters, because we're not talking about a balanced army list to begin with. The Witch Hunters as a whole are balanced, but a pure sisters list is unbalanced, and that test won't give you a correct score for it. Your current list works because it's legal, and it's sporting since it gives your opponent amble chance to destroy your models (low model count). Anyhow, let's look at what we have:
HQ: The cannoness is raw. Here we have a character, that we're increasing up to 76 points, but she can't do anything better than an 11 point sister, or especially what a Veteran Superior can do, for much cheaper. She's slow, she has poor offensive capability, but she does offer up some Faith. The whole point of Faith is to use it and to have it cycle. Anyhow, for these points, you might as well just take a Palatine with a power weapon and call it a day. She would be much cheaper and take less points while still offering up some Faith. Really, power weapons in the sister armies are not good choices. They're not cheap. In the imperial guard, we can get S3 power weapons for very, very cheap, but in the sisters, a S3 power weapon comes at a premium (expensive). So keep that in mind. If you're fighting T3 armies, then ok, it will work out. But if you're facing even a few T4 armies, then forget power weapons because they will not do what you need. Instead, simply invest in what will kill everything: Evsicerator. Now, if you don't want to bother with attacks, instead, bank on the strengths of your character, her shooting abilities. So give her plasma or inferno, something useful and very powerful, while staying cheap. In the end, it's best to either give her what she needs to be worth her points, or just take them plain and simple and guard points for elseware. Elite: As Redbeard said, these Repentia are just high priority expensive victory points that will cost you gravely. The thing is, your whole army is slow. This squad is faster than your troops, and they're also much more vulnerable and expensive. You have no long range weaponry, so your opponent's have 2 targets to shoot at for the first few turns while you just walk: Exorcist and Repentia. The repentia will fall like flies and the exorcist will blow up rather easily too. I too would suggest Zealots if you want combat ability, otherwise, I'd highly suggest Seraphim in their place, rigged for anti-tank for the same points while offering you faith and power, instead of just massive drains to your points. I too love the models, but they're just not worth it. Troops: Notice all the squads are the same? This costs you points on that test. However, there is nothing wrong with that. For starters, these squads are very close range and slow. I would highly suggest as well to beef up the squad size, even if it involves just combing them all into 2 large squads. The flamer/heavy flamer combo is great. The plasma on the Veteran is not great. Instead, I'd recommend dropping that plasma and instead taking an eviscerator. It's more expensive, but believe us, it will make all the difference in combat. The thing is, squads such as these will always end up in combat after their first round of shooting, so buying loads of guns is counter-productive. Taking some guns and some combat ability will give you the chance in both. Fast: I'd highly recommend Seraphim here. Otherwise, I'd recommend much more sisters in your Troops (squads of 16 for example). Heavy: Exorcist are great, but a lone exorcist in a slow list with no other vehicles is going to cost you. This tank will feel the brunt of -all- of your opponent's anti-tank weapons, and will basically be destroyed the first round most likely. If you take more sisters, who provide faith and anti-tank weapons, such as Seraphim, you could have better chances overall, while still keeping to the sister theme and not hurting the rest of your army via the choices. Just a thought for you. Example: HQ - Cannoness (combat; jumppack) Fast - Seraphim; Inferno Pistols Fast - Seraphim; Inferno Pistols Troops - Sisters x 16; Flamers; Eviscerator Troops - Sisters x 16; Flamers; Eviscerator Troops - Sisters x 16; Flamers; Eviscerator Just for example anyways. Or you could even take Retributors for a heavy support instead of the 2nd seraphim squad. Cheers!

I am taking those repentia, I just spent £30 on them (inc. priest) so I'm using them, regardless, plus they are useful for the table I play on (all the time, yes no GW near us!) and so I will take them. I could Merge the two Sisters 1 and 2 together and then possibly take another Exorcist if I dulled the sisters down. Its just I cant get a Meltagun armed Sister, Nor can I get sisters with plasma guns. So I'm gunna have to go it alone and play a risk game

![]() Don't forget you could also use Repentia models as "death cult assassins." You can also use them as "fanatics" for zealots later on if you wish too. Just alternative uses for great models (I love their models, but the unit is just so poor). If you can, try and keep those repentia behind something, and if you attack something, attack vehicles, tanks, dreadnoughts, terminators, etc. If possible, attempt to assault the heaviest and strongest or toughest things in your opponent's army. They will perform better there. Avoid attacking base infantry with Repentia. Good luck!

Good luck with them. The priest will help matters, if you can get the charge.
Unfortunately, repentia don't often get the charge. They're not consistently fast enough, so any assault unit your opponent has is more likely to charge you. You're also hard-pressed to catch anything that doesn't want to be assaulted. Sure, every couple of turns, you'll get a fleet roll, but it's nothing you can count on. Unless your opponent is a glutton for punishment, I don't see how you can catch his stealth suits before he mows you down. If you start anywhere over about 18 inches away, he can just outrun you. You get six, maybe 9 inches towards him, he moves back to around 18 inches, fires at you, and then takes an assault move to move another six away from you. I'm sorry you spent the money on them, but as Mal said, you can always use the models as something else. I think that after using them a couple of times, you'll be looking to swap them out. |

he plays static tau= good for repentia on a cityfight board, hehehe.
Anyway I have made a few possible changes, taking two squads of 13 sisters each, heavy flamer and meltagun. |
