Master-crafted Bolter, Master-crafted Brazier of Holy Fire

How many additions/upgrades do you see in this unit that are fairly (if not totally) useless? Answers below.

- All Models with Krak Grenades also have Melta Bombs
- Multiple cases of Purity Seals
- Multiple cases of Auspex Scanners (which can't be used when inside the Valkyrie, and also only useful for the Heroine's Master-crafted Bolter)
- Inquisitor Lord's Psi-tracker only useful for a Master-crafted Bolter
- Inquisitor Lord's Psyocculum only useful for Night Fight, again with a Master-crafted Bolter
- Inquisitor Lord's carapace armor in case a weapon somehow only negates his 3+ power armor he also has a 4+ to rely on
- Inquisitor Lord's Hammerhand doubles his Strength, but can't be used with weapons
- Inquisitor Lord has Force Weapon and Eviscerator? Really?
- Inquisitor Lord has Excruciators, only useful for Victory Points
- 3 Familiars for a single psychic power
- Sages can only benefit the Palatine (nobody else has a ranged weapon)
- Though Palatine's Shotgun is Master-crafted already, who also has a Master-crafted template weapon
- Palatine has Jump Pack, can't use it when attached
- Palatine has Faith Points, can't use with the unit
- Palatine has Book of St. Lucius, when the Inquisitor's unit not only has Iron Will, but the Palatine has a Leadership of 9.

Hope you didn't field this. Any way my Inquisitor with inferno pistol with 3 plasma warriors and 2 sages is my most 2nd useful unit.

Actually, I started by putting together all of the equipment available with a list and all to try and come up with some of the most useful combinations for an Inquisitor Lord when it dawned on me just how wrong and poor you can really make it.


Since I played the Blood Angels last night to the present hour, I have never realized just how much an update the Inquisition could really use. And nothing became more apparent than swimming through all of the useless and nigh-useless junk labeled as "equipment" and upgrades called "henchmen".

Could be more expensive.

Palatine could be cannoness
Valk could have heavy bolters
Inquisitor can have 2 Powers

Also other useless things.
Palatine can't be mounted in valk when she has jump back.
Hammerhand with an eviserator...




Also, how much is the =I= valk? I thought it was the same costs as the IG one.

Inquisitor Valkyrie is very expensive, but rightly so, considering what can go inside of it. Forge World released a PDF of the rules. Since I found it, I've been asking players if I could use their Rhinos instead of the Codex ones and all have said yes. Mainly because the Inquisitorial Rhino is the same as the Space Marine/Chaos Marine one in the Imperial Armour II book, and not ridiculously old or overpriced at 50 without smoke launchers or searchlights! I haven't used the =I= valk though.

Though I'm trying to come up with ways to incorporate the Grey Knights' Redeemer. >
