Brothers
In an effort to spark some life, one of our most fun past times is to play around with our incredibly configurable Daemonhunter Inquisitors and Grey Knight Heros. So what I would propose is for people to simply post various configurations for them, retinues included if you wish, but they're not required. A simple run down of the configuration along with some comments on what he's meant to do, or some reasons would make it all the better. These configurations can be anywhere from really fundamentally good, to outright insane creations that make no sense or are completely unbalanced. However, I hope to see several from both extremes and some that are somewhere in the middle. So without further delay, let's see your creations!

Elite Inquisitor
A great addition to an army without the fuss of too many points, resilience, retinues, etc. Perfect for purchasing that assassin, but also taking a fun and effective character to the board.
He's cheap and takes a big advantage of the independent character rules, meaning he cannot be targeted in the shooting phase unless he's the closet model the enemy. This is an easy thing to accomplish as well simply because of the range of the Psycannon, which can also take out light transports with a bit of luck. Overall, he's a thorn in anyone's side and can actually cause a lot of damage towards the end of his career.
The point is to have a daemon slayer. The daemonhammer is fast against Daemons, as well as subtracting from their initiative and lowering their weapon skill to a more manageable level. Generally what will happen is that the first round of combat, will involve the Inquisitor lord casting Destroy Daemon so that his to hits and wound rolls are re-rollable, while hitting generally on a 3+ due to the Grimoire and wounding on a 4+ generally at the worst, but re-rollable, making for a 75% chance to wound generally. Due to the incense and a familiar, we will probably be striking first, which means we can wound the daemon and it will not strike until the end of the next assault phase, which keeps us alive. Also, should we fail and any attacks are made, they will only hit probably on a 4+, and wound as normal, in which case our little acolytes take the heat for the Inquisitor. Should we take extra powerfists from combat servitors, they're merely extra wounds possible while the Inquisitor does the real work. If the rolls come out even on average, we should effectively be able to kill the Daemon without much of a fight and possibly without casualties of our own. Granted he only works against really large daemons and the squad will probably cost a similar price, maybe even more if we take a transport, but at least he's characterful and rich with flavor for busting daemons.

Inquisitor with Retinue, both Lord and Elite class. "Plasma" teams, showing off the amount of plasma that the Inquisition can field, compared to normal squads.
Inquisitor Lord "Purification through Pain!" -Plasma Pistol -Bolter-Plasma Gun Targeter Auspex *Hammerhands Retinue: "Green Light Leads the Path!" Veteran Guardsmen with Plasma Gun Veteran Guardsmen with Plasma Gun Veteran Guardsmen with Plasma Gun Acolyte with Bolter-Plasma Gun Acolyte with Bolter-Plasma Gun Acolyte with Bolter-Plasma Gun Sage Sage Transport: "Meat Wagon" Chimera; Multi-laser, Heavy Bolter, Extra Armor 7 Plasma Guns in total, 1 Plasma Pistol. If we fire all the plasma gun possibilities, we have 14 Plasma rapidfire shots, 2 shots at BS5, 6 shots at BS4, and 6 shots at BS3, with a single re-roll from the sage. That means, 2 Shots @ 84% to hit (~2 hits), 6 Shots @ 68% to hit (~4 hits), 6 Shots @ 50% to hit (~3 hits) and a re-roll, adding another hit for 8~10 hits on average, roughly. That makes for pretty much an entire marine squad toasted off the board, and at the same time, you'll burn off probably 3 or 4 of your own guys, but the Inquisition cares not
