Welcome to the forums! About your lord...what do you want to do with him. I don't see any specialization, if you want him to be a cc lord then give him pw. If you want him to be a support lord(shooty lord)lose the pistol get scouring, drop most of your routine to get 2 sages and 3 gun servitors.

Well Acolytes have access to the Armory so there's no use not to get them something. I find they work best with Carapace Armor and Hellguns as meet shields for 3 gun Servitors.
Honestly CC Inquisitors aren't that great. I find the best use for them is as sources of lots and lots of firepower. 2 Heavy Bolter Servitors, 1 Plasma Cannon Servitor, a Sage, 3 Acolytes with Carapace Armor and Hellguns, maybe 3 Cherubs for ablative wounds in cover, and an Inquisitor with a Psycannon and little else in the way of wargear. Combat Inquisitors as I said just aren't that great, S & T 3 just doesn't cut it really and Daemonhammers only help that well against Daemons, the Inquisitor's Initiative doesn't get any better than 5, his WS isn't spectacular for fighting enemy officers. He's best used as a gun toting maniac or psychic artillery. |
