i was looking at the weapons list and decided on a force weapon, but couldn't make my mind up with the second weapon, mostly because.. well, the null rod stops all psychic abilities, what about the force weapon? would it nullify that too? ??? ???

If you're referring to an Inquisitor, since they're the only ones who can take the Force Weapon & Null Rod, you are going to run into some trouble if you mix those two weapons. The null rod completely halts psy powers from effecting you, and keeps you from using them. Using the force weapon ability counts as using a psy power, so the Null Rod would indeed prevent this. So in the end, you have two extraordinarily expensive Str3 power weapons in your hands... that probably won't kill anything short of a fancy-pants-Guardsmen. I suppose this is for theme-sake? I would warn you. Str3 force weapons on an ind. character like an Inquisitor is a fast way to lose him. He's just not potent enough to truly slay a beast with multiple wounds so easily. Anyhow, if you're set on using the Force Weapon, simply mix it with a normal CCW or a pistol of some kind. Get your bonus attack. If you would rather have a Null Rod, do the same. Mix anything you want that is one-handed with either weapon (just don't mix null & force weapons). Cheers! ![]()
