Here's my new list, i havent got a chance to play with it yet.

All in all, the list comes out to 1747 points. the strategy (in basic terms) is to move the stormtroopers to good firing positions, having the squad in the rhino move up to cover their advance. As soon as they get in good firing range, the three gk squads are teleported in right behind enemy lines. as this is going on the russ is wreacking havoc (or becoming a great target to cover the storm troopers) with its many weapons and increased armor and the HQ is moving up behind the rhino and stormtroopers to provide CC support.

p.s. am i overdoing it on the rhino and the russ?
i though the russ would be very intimidating with all the upgrades and the inquisitor would just keep an extra trick up my sleeve

Now, enough of the business, down to the list!

HQ:

This Grand Master and retinue looks pretty good; however the problem is you cannot take 2 weapon upgrades in Terminator units (ie: you cannot have both a psycannon and an incinerator). So other than that, looks good.

Elite1:

Zaney Inquisitor for combat; solid armor save, and the Tarot. I like him!

Elite2:

Death Cults are fun; good choice.

Troop1:

Pretty standard kit; However, I would avoid flamers in Storm Troopers. They have BS4. Also, a grenade launcher doesn't necessarily help your efforts, if you look at what it does, compared to the rest of the army. Meltas and Plasma are very useful for storm troopers, which is why they're so useful in the first place: they supply the things your other units cannot. They would be better mounted though.

Troop2:

Same as above.

Troop3:

Same as above; allowing the Inquisitor to join and get going in the rhino is a good idea. I would put the meltas (assault weapon) perhaps in this squad perhaps, as they will be running to combat I assume, due to the Inquisitor.

Fast1:

Your grey knights that deep strike are fine, but I would advise you to raise their squad sizes. Perhaps drop the 3rd in order to flesh out these first to and bring them both up to the 8 man level.

Fast2:

Fast3:

Read note above.

Heavy1:

Inducted Russes are great; However, yours is illegal. You cannot induct a Russ without first purchasing two I.G. troop selections as par the rules very clearly written in your codex. So check up again on this. After two troops of inducted I.G. you can then buy your extras, such as this Russ. I would also however advise you not to upgrade your sole battle tank so much. Simple upgrades here are better, because it will be a fire magnet. With a battlecannon, nothing will make it more attractive than it already it is. However, check again on the Troop rules to acquire this tank; as it's illegal right now.

srry about the points, thanx for the suggestions. i will definitely implement them, and if i take those two IG choices, i could make my army come out to right under 2000. Ya, the tank is a little overboard...

Sounds good.

Those 2 I.G. troops can also supply you with a valuable mix of anti-tank weapons at range, such as autocannon and missile launchers for relatively cheap. Not to mention a few grenade launchers or plasma guns for good measure.
