GW are good with customer services and they like to make sure people can continue to play with the miniatures they have bought (with a few notable exceptions which are pretty obvious), the fact that they still sell them indicates they do not want to distance themselves from them. Just because they don't support them as often as those with a larger fanbase doesn't mean they don't support them at all, it just means they recognise good business mechanics.
I'd advise those who DO live in Grimsby and suffer as a result of the staff, report them. GW prides itself on customer services and this is a pure example of TERRIBLE customer services.
Mkoll, you should just come out of the closet now. It will save you so much hassle later on. It can't be comfortable in there with wargamer! You need your space!
