Whether they lead in the front lines with sword held high and bloodlust in their eyes, or sit back in the command tent and pore over strategic maps, every army has a leader. This contest is open to any single HQ model - the lone character, without any retinue they might have.

Dates:

• Entries can be submitted via a PM to Dra'Tuisich-Novae from January 10^th till Febuary 21^st.
• Voting will take place between Febuary 22^nd and Febuary 27^th.
• Winners will be announced on the 28^th of Febuary.

Prizes:

1st Place - 10pts
2nd Place - 5pts
3rd Place - 2pts

(The top 3 all receive official TO winners seals as well).

Rules:

• Up to three pictures of your entry may be submitted.
• Your model may be converted
• Monstrous creatures are allowed
• Your model must be fully painted and based
• Your model may not have been entered in a previous contest.
• Photos of your entry may not exceed 800x600 pixels.

Okay...klkn. I've got one HQ model that I would like to strip the paint off and repaint again. Not sure if I will be in time due to "Real Life" and "Boring Work".

Nonetheless, I shall try. At the very least I would have properly done the HQ model this time. =p

Yep. Or of your own construction. Or somewhere in between.

You can use parts from other ranges if you want, but it has to be predominantly made of GW parts. We'll look at each case individually in this instance.

Sorry, the new system is taking longer to implement than we expected. Seals for everything will be out eventually.

 Would I be allowed to use a fantasy model for this comp. I was specifically thinking aenur, the sword of twilight, because I use him as my assassin-style autarch.

Is he on a Fantasy base or a 40k round base?

If it is on a 40k base I guess you could call it a very simple conversion.  If it isn't adapted for 40k at all, I would suggest waiting and entering it in the Fantasy unit competition starting in March.
