This topic sort of pertains to both Necro and 40k so...here goes.

If anyone is interested in playing an informal league of necro using the 40k vassal module, pop your name down here, with the type of gang you'll be playing. If you've never played before, its no biggie, it's easy to pick up if you know 40k. Details below:

Length of time: Till people get bored with it.
Starting points: 1000.(if your gang gets really hosed, you can opt to restart). If you pick goliath, you get a bonus 50 points because I feel they have weaker skills.
Legal gangs: All standard and outlaw.
Where to get rules: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1330042_Necromunda_Rulebook.pdf Alternatively, go to the GW site, and select the bottom option in the specialist games menu. All rules are freely, legally downloadable there.
Who to play: whoever, whenever. Don't really need a formal system for this, just post game results here afterward.

I don't know if Vassal would work. The way I understand it, Necromunda lives from the third dimension. Since Vassal is strictly 2D, I think you would loose an important aspect of the game.

That is the most challenging aspect. You may have to specify what level of the building your model is on and so forth. Fortunately, with a dozen or less models per side, its a lot easier to keep track of.

I never played before but I would love too give it a try. I'll try and work out a list and post it to make sure  it is legal. I think I will either try scavvies or if the nonstandard gangs are illegal then escher their the close up guys right.

Midway through my game with Bloodfire. I don't think Im gonna be able to stop his team from escaping off my table edge(I've got one more turn of shooting before they start escaping), but there will be a pile o' bodies.

Given that this is a grudge match, there should be some sick rolling on his part in the post game. Starting out with massed numbers works pretty good in such a situation.
