Well, Warhammer world is still 180 odd miles from me, but it was worth the trip :D

Yeah, there wasn't enough infor they could/would give away really, shame.

I did speak about a new Tau codex, what with the changes that 5th brought. I was asked why I thought it had issues, and we spoke in length with regard to things like disruption pods now being too good.

I was assured that Tau were not an army being looked at from a simply business point of view - codex releases are the time where they want to overhaul EVERYTHING that needs doing - models etc.

As the Tau are in no need of models, they aren't likely to see anything for a loooong time.

Very nice!
Did you specifically mention some of the changes the various TO'ers have tested or want? (A2/H2, BS changes, or price reductions mainly).

I spoke about the D-pod increase, the tank decrease and mentioned in passing the H2 idea, but he wasn't games development, he was more like an internal officer - he worked on presentations, tracking down leaks etc.

PR, really. He nodded thoughtfully with what I mentioned - who knows, we may have made an impact, but I doubt it.

Looks like it was a great time. You Brits get all the cool stuff at Warhammer World.  :P

Did you see anything about the Vulcan Mega Bolter baneblade varient? It is supposed to be in with the Shadowsword kit, and there was some scuttlebut over on BoLS about it being confirmed by someone else who attended the seminar.

As I mentioned in the Shadowsword thread, there were pictures of a Vulcan Mega-Bolter on top of what appeared to be a Baneblade chassis in the CAD book they had for us to peruse.  Whilst I had no confirmation in my seminar (though it appears that the second seminar got more info than the first one did), the CAD book does lend strength to the Vulcan Mega-Bolter being included in the Shadowsword kit.

You were there and you didn't look me up? :'(

Yeah, they were rather tightlipped as to the other variants, other than the shadowsword and the doomhammer.

Sorry chief, I didn't realise any other members of TO were going.  Otherwise I'd certainly have made some time for a chat.

Did any of you get a look at the cost of some of the LM units, especially Saurus?  No new cold ones?  Bummer.

Saurus are cheaper, with a better standard armour save - meaning Cold Ones are also a tad cheaper with better save.

TikTak'To seems to be going back to the fun naming, like when Tehenhuan was properly called Teni-Huini :D

I like that they are doing 'casulaty' models again... I used to love them, and now they will make great objective markers... woot, and MAZAMUNDAI.... I may have to make a lizard army now... specially if he is as good as he used to be!

I'm seeing me viewing this page...and 25 Guests...

That is kinda creepy.  :-\

EDIT- I suspect that the counter has 24 = 0 for some reason. Don't know why, but it seems that way.
