Well, your wrong. The Nightbringer never went into stasis, nor did the deceiver. The deceiver played his tricks for a while, and the Nightbringer starved until the time was right (the "right time" was when he fled almost certain death :P)
The VD, however, was defeated and was imprisoned in Mars and is the Omnisiah.
The Outsider is trapped in the Dyson sphere, and is messed up in the head.

At least a 5th one, so you can launch a legal squad.

The Outsider is active, but contained. If he was dormant the Tyranids wouldn't have diverted their entire fleet to stay well away from it.

Hmmm... the Void in Void Dragon could just mean the universe.  There are many references in the fluff of them referring to space as a void, or the Void.  People tend to over complicate Necron fluff a lot , but usually the answer is much simpler.  And yes, the Outsider is active, but he/she is contained.

Also that "chaos guy" is Abbadon the Despoiler, warmaster of the black legion.  He could be considered the Emperor's "youngest" son, because in some fluff it references horus being a clone of the emperor, and Abbadon being a clone of Horus.

Way to reiterate what I just said lol

I don't think the 'Void' is anything in particular, just part of a name. It's not a name it calls itself, it's the name that other races have given to it.

The reiteration was the main point  :)

And I dont actually think any of the C'tan actually gave themselves names come to think of it.  I wonder what they do call themselves.

But back to the topic,
The Outsider is trapped, and is very very insane in the membrane. All those c'tan he ate haunted him, and you can see their faces on his skin. It'll make a pretty cool model.

As for the Void Dragon. I do not think he has anything to do with a) the void and b) a dragon. I think it is just a name.

The nature of the Dyson Sphere that contains the Outsider is not known, afaik there is no reference of it being captured and placed there. It could have done it of it's own free will as some sort of protection, or some other plan.

If it's powerful enough to force the Tyranid Hive Mind to divert, it's certainly very active and very powerful.

On a second note, the Outsider doesn't have a "skin" as they only take physical manifestations when they want, and can also assume any form they please.

The idea would be that the entity called the Void Dragon forms part of the subconscious of the races that created "Dragons" in their folklore and mythology.  In the same way the Nightbringer provides an incarnation of death and Deceiver and/or Laughing God provides a Trickster figure.

I dunno about that one, the Nightbringer visited all the races and probably did something very nasty to give them such a fear of it's face. I doubt the Void Dragon did the same.

Huzza! As it turns out GW aren't going to remove the C'tan.
Also, i read in the nids codex i think, that the nids completely ignore the necrons, plus the nids and the outsider both come from outside the galaxy.  Does this mean that maybe the outsider controls them o_O.  Also they both have the same goals, namley devour.  Anyone else thinking this too??

Our tanks were useless. As soon as we broke cover, their battlesuits' heavy guns were locked on to us. I swear it was as though they had someone nearby aiming for them before they shot. And when they did shoot...Emperor's mercy! Their guns punched through our armour like it was paper. all I could see were trails of fire where the projectiles had ignited the air.  Of the crew all that was seen was a small puddle of blood some ten metres away

Well, aside from the Nids relying heavily on the Warp and being basically a manifestation of a Warp entity, and the Necrons being completely anti-warp and indeed cannot function with it, and the fact that their goals are not only mutually exclusive but also completely opposite in execution, i suppose it is possible

The outsider did not come from out the galaxy, he came like every other C'tan. A sentient energy field that manifested in a metal body.
