Default rough riders

what do you guys think of some rough riders on alternative mounts? I was really thinking of some appropriately scaled sabertooth tigers or panthers or something, but where am I going to find that? So maybe something borrowed from WFB, like warhounds of chaos...or cold ones. I'm not sure if the warhounds will be big enough, but the cold ones...yeah!

Thanks!* I dunno bout the xenomounts doctrine...the points look right, but anything that slows them down...~shudder~

Those bikes look AWESOME! I dunno why I assumed that I'd keep those nasty mongolian rough riders figures...even if I went with the cold ones as mounts...I'm definitely putting cadians on them!

What's the min/max squad size for rough riders? I'm out of the country, but I want to have the materials for those bikes waiting for me when I get back!

i think its 5 to 10. rember though, the xeno mount gets an attack too, an dthat is worth the slow down to me.

hmmm...it might be worth it. I wish it improved their T instead of their save (although saving against bolters is nice!). Is xeno mount doctrine chapter approved?

Oh, and I just figured out that those nice looking cadian bikes are $50 appiece! $250-500 is a lotta money for a single fast attack choice...I might cave in to the voices and make 5-6 of them anyway, but if xeno mounts is chapter approved, I might save the money and make 10 cold one riders instead...

Or you can just buy five to ten Space Marine Bikes, a few dollars worth of Plasticard and go here.

crap...I think the one fingolfin showed me looks a little better, but it costs too much. This one, well, it looks almost as good (except that I couldn't put on the bolters for IG), it's a hell of a lot cheaper, but a hell of a lot of work, requiring tools that I don't have...hmmm...well, I can't really start this project till I get back to the states, so I have plenty of time to think about it. Thanks for the help, guys!
