which is the best doctrine???
i think sharpshooters but youve all been collecting gaurdd for longer than me so..

Iron Discipline gets the most use by me. Sharpshooters is handy for heavy weapons squads, and it's always good to have tons of Conscripts running around!

light infantry is the greatest. you get to move farther in rough terrian and you get snipers in regular platoons

Iron disipline is quite nice. I happen to like Grenadiers a lot because it lets me make a mechanized army without taking the doctrine and my army was going to have a lot of storm troopers anyway.

Im a Fan of drop troops, the abiltiy to drop down anywhere is really cool backed up with a Valkyrie it makes a kick ass force

Snipers in regular squads is realy useless.. I used to think the way you do. The fact is that one sniper shot is really going to do nothing... unfortunately I didn't realize this when I bought a bunch of snipers. I quickly replaced them all with autocannons..
