Default U.s armed forces guard

Hey all, I've been planning this for awhile and think i will finally start a u.s guard army. so far i have a few plans for the general vehicles. i plan on painting them in "chocolate chip" dcu's like in desert storm.

the vehicles(so far)

Leman russ(M1A2 Abrams)
Chimera(M2 Bradley)
Basilisk(M109 palidan)
hellhound& variants(stryker)
anything missle related(MLRS)

Any help with other vehicle will be greatly appreciated, Tell me what you think C&C welcome.

Valkyrie could work as an Apache if you arm it with Multiple Rocket Pods, Vendetta perhaps an Apache armed with anti-tank missiles.

And the Leman Russ Vanquisher would work better as an M1A2. Chimera is more like a Stryker, in armor and design than the hellhound, unless you're going for the larger gun varients of the stryker. Rangers for either Vets or Stormtroopers, with regular making up platoons.

Sentinels?

Maybe some of the automated drones we use? There's nothing quite like them in the current armories as I can tell, maybe some gundams on the Japanese side of things, but not here.

Basilisks can kinda be represented by our big (200+ mm) artillery pieces.
Add laser guided shells and that other artillery piece can be used (the re-rolling one that I love/hate).

Hmm, more if I think of anything.

The Manticore is an obvious choice for the MLRS.

You could have a Hydra + HK missile as an M6 Bradley Linebacker, as they fulfill the same roles.

I reckon doing a vendetta as an A-10 Tank Killer would be the way to go...

I don't see how hellhound is remotely similar to stryker... compared to a chim (which carries guys, traverses rivers, and, depending on how advanced it is with upgrades, could be a LAV-25, LAV-75, or a Stryker, all of which have the same basic shape... just like your chim options). Bradleys don't go accross rivers, and Strykers are transports and they don't shoot gouts of flame in the air. just depends on how advanced your upgrades are, they can all be some form of chim.

Definitely the Paladin = Basilisk, M1 = some kind of russ variant... valkyrie would be more of a blackhawk than an apache IMO because it carries people around and also serves as a secondary support fire thing for the people it drops off. Just some thoughts.

But the problem is, the firepower analogue for the Valkyrie isn't there with the Blackhawk, I guess you could go with door guns and choose not to ever use your missiles, but... We just don't have as direct an analogue for it.

Wouldn't exactly work, unless you're including USAF.

Only problem is that us AF guys would never let those army guys fly an A-10. :P

I would use a valk as an F-35B if you want to keep it fluffy as an army list, I think they are still supposed to get them. May just be the Marines.

Edit: Icer beat me to it lol.
