Default Alternative greatcoat models!

There's something awesome about guardsmen in trench coats, but unless you've got the money to fork out for a forgeworld Death Korps of Krieg army, there's not much choice out there, and even less in plastic. Until now. Wargames Factory are a relatively small company who focus on 28mm historic gaming. Recently they began to expand into sci fi with the addition of these awesome greatcoat models. They make a great cheap alternative to Steel Legion or Death Korps, or I could see them working as chaos cultists. I personally am gonna mix them up with Necron and colonial British parts to make a steampunk army. Also see this review by beasts of war to get a close look at the sprue.
Enjoy

I saw these guys of BoW too.

Their review is pretty damn thorough, but without holding the model in my own hands, I can't give a real opinion of them.

Perhaps with a bit of Green Stuffing, I could make Vostroyan as well, but I think I'll wait till I'm better with GS.

I see a Nurgle Guard Army and an empty bank account.

Bugger.

Crikey! This crazy clown causes commotion like the coming of Christ. Contained in a circle corrupted by crackheads and carnal cravings, he creates no concession to callous cheaters concentrating on nought but cock. Certainly, still a curious and cordial cavalier in the countenance of crazed cads, curs and creeps who condemn courtesy as something corny. No cloud could collapse his crushing crescendo of comical crowing and crimson coiffure. This conjecture on culture comes circumlocutive, consequently...

You may call me Circus.

Ah, More cultists for my Chaos guard! >

And I Agree with Circus about the empty bank account though.

Personally, I'm not sold. Everything is decent, until you get to the heads. Those are just... crap. Every one of them. The guns are meh too, but I could see using lasguns instead of those.... things.

They look like solid models. Yeah, I am tempted.

Head swaps aren't so hard. Pig Iron has some sweet gas masks and such.

And the arms, the pauldrons are just ridiculous. If I were to use these I'm pretty sure I'd end up just replacing everything but the torso.

I think they would look pretty ace with Cadian arms and guns, thinking on.
