Default basilisks are scary

For all of the gamers who don't have 10 titans and 15 super heavy tanks, who here agrees that puttuing down 3 basilisks right next to each other with gleaming black barrels makes other players do double takes.

If you agree, say whatever you want, but make sure to say, "+1"

Super heavy gunner. Please reread the forum rules.
This post, and many of your other posts, are blatant spam.

I'm not really sure if you're a very clever troll, or if this is just the first forum you've ever been on. You have, however, been warned multiple times.

Either way, smote for spamming.

Just prooves how new you are too this game.

1 basilisk is crap, let alone 3 of them. Put down 3 manticores or 3 collossus and see how they react however...

For a trivial point difference, I'd field 3 Vendettas instead. Far more versatility and mobility (not to mention longevity).

3 Vendettas would be terrifying, that many Lascannon and Heavy Bolters would be very very worrying.

Id be more concerned about LRBTs than Bassies aswell.

I often run 2 Vendettas. I think if I ran 3 my playgroup would choke the life out of me. Though lately the hate has been redirected more at the Doom our Nid player has been favoring.

The fact that 9 can be fielded, and could each be filled with Melta/Plasma Vets, is just evil.

Granted it would be expensive, but no army should be able to run that much mobile AP2 firepower. Especially not in a non HS Force Org Slot.

Rantiness over.

I run two as a squadron in my elsysians. 3 seperate ones is just deadly and no fun for your opponenet.

2 Seperate ones is bad enough.

Now you know how I feel on a regular basis. The game store I frequent has about four or five IG players that have this exact same loudout. I usually end up playing against one of them weekly.

Going back to the original topic, I like Basilisks, but I prefer the mobility afforded in Leman Russes. Still, in Apocalypse games, Basilisks can just stand back and pour fire.

Or, if you're in a particularly friendly gaming club, fire at another table that isn't even part of your game.

Crikey! This crazy clown causes commotion like the coming of Christ. Contained in a circle corrupted by crackheads and carnal cravings, he creates no concession to callous cheaters concentrating on nought but cock. Certainly, still a curious and cordial cavalier in the countenance of crazed cads, curs and creeps who condemn courtesy as something corny. No cloud could collapse his crushing crescendo of comical crowing and crimson coiffure. This conjecture on culture comes circumlocutive, consequently...
