Default Vox or Vet?

Alright - I'm torn.
I can't decide between a master vox for HQ w/ HSO and full defensive stuff, and most other units with voxs, or HQ w/ SO/HSO and little defensive equipment, most squads having vet sergeants w/ bolters instead.
Please - I need to know before i paint and make loads of voxs!

I tend to lean towards Veteran Sergeants... but I've been known to use both.

i would think he best thing to use would be a SO with the defensive staff. leave the vox guys for your platoon command staffsince the leadership confered from the hq platoon wouldnt be that much better

I would suggest giving the voxes the to the units that would be out in the field (infiltrating hardened vets, storm troopers etc) and give the command platoon a normal vox. Then just deploy your defensive stuff as close to the command unit as possible. Thats my advice and it's worked out pretty well for me.

Neither. I just make sure my Lieutenants are always in range to confer their leadership to their squads.

Which leaves a big problem with your Lieutenants die, but if that happens you're probably in dire straits anyway...

The Vox always works for me but if you can't get the points for the master vox veterans are just as effective.
