Default Deathstrike and buildings

With the deathstrike, if it lands on the ground, are only the units on the ground floor of the building affected, like other ordinance? or do all floors of the building count?

The rule book states that this, as an ordnance weapon, only affects the units on the first level that it hits. For example:

You have a 3 story building and your DeathStrike missile hits the second floor, the first and third floor are unaffected.

yes but the deathstrike itself says that anything within range is hit.

Within range also implies on th same level.

Except nowhere in the rules for the Deathstrike does it say it has a template - it simply hits everything within a certain radius!

As such, I'd say if you are physically in range, regardless of height, you're hit.

I agree with Wargamer. The Deathstrike does not specify a blast template, it just gives a radius. 'Sides, it's a massive rocket. I don't think standing on the second floor instead of the first is going to save you. :P

Ha ha ha yeah, its pretty much a tactical Nuclear missile. Have fun dodging that while your in the building its aiming for :P

I wouldn't say regardless of height though. Wouldn't you just instead of using the radius to make a circle, extend it to make a sphere?

So you rotate the radius not only around horizontally, but up and down vertically aswell, wouldn't that make more sense?
