Default Naming a Super-Heavy Tank

Hi everyone,

I am planning on buying a Super-Heavy tank, specifically the Banesword from the Shadowsword/Stormlord box set.

I have been having trouble thinking of a name for such a beastly machine.
I would like it to incorporate one of the following words (I will edit the post if I come across any other words or any other ones that I like are suggested) :

Fury
Rage
Might
Destruction
Resolution
Executor (or any other varient of the word)

Thanks for the help in advance

- LordZanuu

PS: I was unsure about starting a new topic on this subject, so mods, please feel free to merge it with another thread if appropriate.

I wouldn't joke too much Droid, the IA I read did mention something about naming super-heavies something outrageously pompus ... not the exact words but something like that would be a great example for a super heavy.... also anyone know where I can get the data for the banesword and all that my IA only has the shadowsword and the baneblade and one more..... nothing about the stormlord stormsword, banesword or banehammer or hellhammer.

I thought it was only the defence lasers that had the over-the-top pompus names.

If you want the data sheets they are here at the GW website:

I just want the name of the IA book that has them so I can complete my collection....

It might be only the defense lasers but I remember some most of the super heavies both in books and on the table top to have WAY over the top names.

Try a name that fits in with your army and/or commander. Do you use any special characters? Do you have names for your Company Commander/s?

example - in my dream Guard army, which, fluff-wise, is from the Vanaheim hive world, the leading Baneblade is named "Wrath of the Vanir". (In Norse mythology, the Vanir ruled over Vanaheim, one of the three regions of Asgard).

Yay for norse mythology. I use "Odin's Fury" and all my leman russes are named after vakyries, with the second in command tank being called Slepnir. Anyone know of the fluffyness of having a shadowsword and a stormlord (or the other Mega vulcan tanks) in the same army. Cause right now i'm using a vanquisher as the second in command but I would like a stormlord.
