You... you frighten me, sir. Do I have to get the comissar, or are you going somewhere with this idea? Particular units/orders, maybe?

This came up a while back and I am now down brewing on this Idea. and here is what I came up with

Colonel "ironhand" Straken
Command squad however you want it. (preferably with heavy weapons teams)

Veteran squad1
Veteran Sergeant (power weapon)
Veterans however you like them
Forward sentries

Veteran squad1
Veteran Sergeant (power weapon)

Forward Sentries

Okay basic Idea is this: you set up strakens Command squad between the two other units, so they are just in range to get strakens counter-attack, and furious charge bonuses. You also should put them all in cover. What you have is a unit that will if attacked be able to wound marines on 4+ with one guy ignoring armor save with a multitude of attacks. You can even throw in a ministorum priest to um... cheese things up a bit Or a lord commissar to put the fear of god in your enemy.

the whole point of this is NOT to get assaulted though, the point is to make the enemy think thrice before assaulting YOU.... okay if you do it right strakens squad can assault like crazy just be careful not to stray outside his range.

Of course if you don't particularily care about the enemy getting an extra attack you can go with the following devious little set up

Colonel "ironhand" Straken
Command squad however you want it. (preferably with heavy weapons teams)

Combined squad (squads 1 and 2)
Commissar (power sword)
Sergeant (power sword)
sergeant (power sword)
18 Guardsmen

Combined squad (squads 3 and 4)
Commissar (power sword)
Sergeant (power sword)
sergeant (power sword)
18 Guardsmen

I personally prefer this second setup as not only does it allow me to take advantage of FRFSRF but also the three power weapons,
