Default SL3 IRONSHIELD

I was thinking about using these in my army as Chimeras, What does any one think or does anyone have any experience with them. If you dont they are pig iron products. Here is a link to the site. http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/ My army is Renegades by the way. I really want them to stand out and was wondering if you guys think this is a good idea.

You're probably already well aware that you won't be able to play a game with them at any store that makes up part of the GW retail chain, but just incase your not familiar with GW policy they like the models to either be scratch built out of junk or at least 75% GW to be game legal. If you have no plans to play in any of the larger GW sponsored tournaments or a GW store then you've really got nothing to lose.

This is a funny subject really. I dont know how it is with the rest of the world, but in Sweden we have not so many GW stores. Instead we have game stores who sell GW stuff.
So for us its not really a big issue atleast.
And usually we play in gaming comunities.

And lastly, GW turnaments isnt really a common thing, compaired to other turnaments

Oh, thx for fixing my sentence

Yea, I usually play at a local club so that will be no problem for me. When I get around to it I will post pictures, (have to come up with the cash first)

Hey Rob,

Those tanks look great, just be aware they are easily 20-30% bigger than a chimera.

Can anyone tell me what the point of this thread was?

And as a note, I have heard nothing bad about Pig Iron Productions.

The OP was asking people if it was a good idea to use this as a Chimera and if anyone had had any experience with using them.
