Default So yeah a few questions regarding the guard

Just so the new codex today and im definitly happy about the manticores as Im looking into a artillery regiment (I have used the right vehicle name right?)

Oh but a few questions.

So apart from the tanks and flyers theres gonna be no new models? Does this mean we have to scratch build manticores and those nuke launchy things (hellstrikes? I dunno)

How does the hellstrike actually work?
The rumours about the new plastic guard were false then?

There will be new models, just not released for a while. I know FW has a lot of the IG vehicles that GW doesn't have at the moment.

You're thinking of the Deathstrike, and afaik there are no models for it. There's nothing wrong with conversions though!

The Manticore model is available from Forgeworld.

I'm assuming you mean Deathstrike here...

Firstly, you need to roll for launch each turn, starting on turn 2. You apply the modifiers listed. A result of 6 or more, the missile launches.

Allocate where on the table you want to hit; simply pick a spot on the board within range.

Next, the blast radius. All enemy models within D3+3" of your target point take a Str 10 AP 1 hit with no cover saves. So, you measure D3+3" from your point of impact, and hit every model in range.

I thought you could shoot it once per game 0.o

Bit of a harsh answer there mate.

let me rephrase my self. When i say READ I meant I was playing necromunda at the same time so was more like a GLANCE.

Is that a good enough explanation?
