Personally I would hate to see squadrons. 3 for one choice, operating indipendantly... fine. But 3, which cannot move 4" away from each other and count immobilised as wrecked... sorry - don't make me laugh! (ha ha ha?)

I'm really not a fan of the whole squadron thing. Might be okay in huge games (2500-3000+), but then you may well be using apocalypse rules anyway. Or sepertate detatchments (like my 2x1850 lists for Tau and Guard).

Russes as once choice - operating individually though, that'd be nice.

So? It's a choice. You either get 3. 1 in each FoC. If you want more, you face the risk of having them easily destroyed.

Doesn't matter - I'm getting an armoured company anyway

Realistically a squadron makes sense, and armor is usually fielded that way.

The slightly easier to destroy Russ' would make up for the fact that you can still include two basilisks or a HW platoon.

It's rather have a pair of Russes capable of moving more than 4" apart. Still, each to their own, aye?

P.S in the real british army,we have 4 scimitar recon tanks in a troop. I get the feeling they don't always stick so close together one shell could blow half of them up

But still, this is the british army we're talking about! ;D
