Default Die Hards. Now our best Doctrine?

Well with 5th edition seeing the possibility of going down to snake eyes leadership, will Die Hards be the most valuable doctrine we have?

Discuss.

I don't think so, as the Doctrine says that units may ignore negative modifiers for being outnumbered, not being slaughtered.

So it now just seems useless. :'(

Or am I missing something? ???

unfortunatly i must agree with LS unless you make up a house rule.

if it did work like that it would be the best ever.

but if you don't mind having chem-inhalers "Count As" very stubborn troops. Chem-inhalers works great in the way you're asking because it says "they take NO negitive modifiers in CC"

I always though it was a shame that no-one took die-hards, it was always iron disipline. I though die-hards was cool because it represented badass common troopers rather than well trained officers that got their position because of "Friends of the Family"

slightly off topic. if a unit has iron discipline do all it's benefits still apply?

Bang on. It's definately not useful at all anymore, but CoDing infantry squad with a veteran sergeant and chem-inhalers will be damned near unbreakable.
