Default "medival" guard

i am thinking of making a guard army with a medival theme. i would like to use the cadian models mixed with brettonians (for basic troops at least). for my basic guard i will mix cadian shock troops with brettonian men at arms. so, i need to know EXACTLY how many lasguns are in the cadian shock troops boxed set (i don't really want to be spending $100 [AU] on two ten man squads)

any info would be great,

cheers

You get enough bits for 20 Guardsmen, so 20 Lasguns.

I'm pretty sure that there are substantially more than that. The only thing standard boxes limit you with in the number of torsos, you should have heads, legs, weapons, arms, and heads to spare.

no legs and torsos are the limited bitz i think.

There are enough to give each man a lasgun and have a couple left over (for weapons racks, dropped guns etc.)

It comes with more lasguns than you really need. (One spare (No hands on it) and a few others) A grenade launcher, chainsword, laspistol and some grenade arms.

Nice idea!

The sprue can be seen on Game Workshop's online store. There are only 5 torsos on it, so you must have 4 of these sprues to make 20 Guardsmen. There are 6 lasguns on the sprue. Do the maths.

6 Lasguns and 1 Laspistol per sprue, so a total of 28 las weapons per box, 24 of which are lasguns.

Yes, someone did convert some Cadians/Men-at-arms. I can't for the life of me remember where though. They were meant to be fighting in trenches. It may have been on this site actually.
