I was looking at the defence laser and thinking it would be great to have one not for any tactical reason as it would die and fast but just for fun. So looking at the stats I am wondering what the D means on its Str. I could understans if its S has some special rule like how snipers always wound on a 4+ but what does the Defence lasers D mean.

I think its something thats in the Apoc book. I don't have it so I wouldnt know- I assume it loosely translates to "Big *ucking Gun", 'scuse my french.

It stands for death 8), it is a rule that if you get hit buy it then its and auto wound with no save except your invulnarble save.
