Ive been wondering if anyone else here uses doctrines.
I use Psykers, priests, greniders, droop troops and carapace.

What are doctrines? None of us have EVER used those, not once! :P :P

In all truthfullness though, I believe that I use the Close Order, Special Weapons, Iron Discipline, and Vets maybe....? I cant remember, as I dont have my stuff next to me.

I don't. Doctrines mean less men.

I only use doctrines in games over 1500pt for the same reason as Mortis

but the doctrines your asking about are some really popular ones.

though psykers and priest appear to be less common.

I take the psyker doctrine and one psyker in my command squad just for fluff reasons as you have to get lucky to get a good power.

I can see the use in a priest but my army can't take the priest doctrine.

Well the Doctrines I like:

Conscript Platoons
Hardened Fighters
Light Infantry
...and Camoline can be rather useful

Sometimes I dabble with the others, but I wouldn't use a doctrine in games of less than 800pts (unless pushed for some reason, i.e. fluff battle).

I vary. I try to pick up a free one (close order drill, anyone?) if nothing else.

I use Drop Troops and Iron Discipline... not much of a points investment. I've toyed around with Special Weapons, Stormtroopers, Rough Riders, Psykers, and Chem Inhalers, but I like to keep my squads fairly trimmed-down.
