Quick, simple, to the point question- Would you let someone use Grenadier Heavy stubbers as Heavy Bolters?

I ask because the only way to get Grenadier Meltaguns for DKoK is to buy a $18 USD pack with that and a heavy stubber- and if I could use the Heavy Stubbers as Heavy Bolters (using some extra men as the other squad-mates), it'd save me a load of cash.

I think that would be fine, im pretty big on house rules and making the game what you believe it should be. Cover rules in particular. So if it where me you where playing then id be fine with that.

I would be fine with it. Although the heavy stubber doesn't look anything like a HB, it still looks downright mean.

I'm fine with limited proxying, too. Forge world proxying (as in proxying FW for GW) is fine with me.

But who says that a Heavy Bolter MUST look like they do? I think that it would be AWSOME to have a Heavy Bolter Bren Gun!

As long as you'd give it a loader, i'd be fine with it.

As a side note, I love the DKoK M79-style grenade launcher. I just seems fitting to me.

so what your saying is that oven cleaner can remove paint from plastic models? and after that, you take a toothbrush to your plastic model, and the paint just comes off?

Yes. However the player should make sure there's no heavy stubbers that actually ARE heavy stubbers (ruleswise) in his list to prevent confusion

While it may look little like the Death Korp heavy bolter, I'd go for it. Sounds like fun to me.

I'd permit it, with the same proviso as Fish Ead. If some of them represent heavy stubbers, and others represent heavy bolters, it just gets downright confusing.
