I'm not happy, I really want Krieg models, but I can't be bothered ordering all the way to the UK for a fist full of messy resin. Hence let rantings begin on such thoughts on this matter.

Yeah the models look really nice. I've never built any forge world stuff from scratch if I did and invested in a new set of conscripts...well;

DEATH KORPS OF KRIEG INFANTRY SQUAD ADVANCING x2 £32
DEATH KORPS OF KRIEG INFANTRY SQUAD FIRING x2 £32
DEATH KORPS OF KRIEG COMMAND SQUAD £18
DEATH KORPS OF KRIEG HEAVY STUBBER SQUAD £38

Total: £184

Thats alot of money. 12% adds an extra nearly £20. Not likely for the moment.

Oh, how annoyed I am at the FW models...
They look fantastic, but costs your shirt, left arm and first born.
Not to mention the taxes for transport.
Well, I have a pal who is going to Nottingham this summer.
Perhaps some bribing is in order...

I might be getting some Forgeworld stuff next year, when all my training is done and I have a good amount of expendable income... after I buy my car.

And someday I'm getting a Warhound Titan.

They are expensive.

204 quid is like $350... probably more.

Luckily, my cousins are English so all I have to do is ask for Forge World stuff for my birthday... expensive for me, normal for them!

However, I think some people over-react on how expensive the stuff is. You can get them, it's just a matter of want. Later this year I plan on buying 2 Pirahna TX-42's, and a Missile Launcher Crisis Command Suit. It'll cost me about $150, a trade which I could've gotten, say, a 2 Hammerheads, 2 Crisis Suits, and some stealth suits.

It's just that I want them that badly. And furthermore, I bet a lot of Tau players have spent way more than $150 on their army, as have IG players. So you could've some FW stuff, but building an army is more important.

Well If you played an "elite" army with a few really souped up troops and a good number of vehicals you won't spend too much on the resin and have a good characterful army.

Since I've finally got to working as a referee, I'm going to purchase a Death Korps squad firing, and use it as hardened veterans.

I know exactly how you feel, as soon as I saw the Death Korps I fell in love with them...Until I saw the prices. Something like 64 USD for a squad of ten? That was enough to make me wince at my monitor. I mean, sure it's resin and resin looks good, but it still seems a bit excessive.

Then again this little grip could be from the fact I'm used to importing Gundam models from Japan, where the currency conversions are a little more in my favor.

In the end I might have to dust off my sculpting tools from the art classes I used to take and see if I can't sculpt my own. If all else fails I suppose I can purchase a few steel legion troopers and call them Kriegs.
