Default Alternate Chimera Turrets

Could anyone tell me the point cost of a TL Heavy Bolter chimera? I really would like to convert one but I don't know what FW book it's in and even so it seems like alot of money to pay for one vehicle upgrade. I mostly play games with a small group of friends and simply having the points cost of the vehicle would suffice as far as legality in a game for us. Also, my friend converted an Chimerax years ago based on a model from Citadel Journal, so if you have a points cost for a TL(really a quad linked if they make one) autocannon turret as well I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

The forgeworld book imperial armour vol1 has the points cost in as 10pts for a turret mounted hvy bolter.
The main imp guard rule book also has a pts cost of 10pts for a turret mounted hvy bolter

Hope this helps

Yes but he asked for the points for a twin linked heavy bolter not a single heavy bolter

Chimera with twin linked heavy bolter and hull mounted heavy bolter =90pts
Chimera with Autocannon and Hull mounted heavy bolter =90pts

(it cannot be twin linked) well there you go and I didn`t give away the independent points cost even though you may be able to figure it out easily lol

hope it helps

Thanks guys. I was 99% sure you could post total points cost with breaking any rules. A single autocannon turret would be pretty nice but I wish there was a linked version. Goodbye multi-lasers!

[[[ Yeah, I have a chimera with TL-Heavy bolters, and I would like to get autocannons instead of the Multi-laser.

I don't know about a simple TL Autocannon turret, but your friend could use the Hydra flak tank rules to represent his Chimerax, although it would have to sacrifice its transport capacity completely to become a pure engine of dakka. Depends how he uses it I suppose.

Logically, if you wanted to make a house rule, I'd say two standard TL Autocannons (ie. not long-barrelled AA) should cost 45 points...and a single TL Autocannon 25 points?
