Is it possible to just have a imp guard army made up of only ghosts led by Guant? I just read Necropolis so... yeah.. :P

Yes.....you will just have severe problems against armour.

theres rules for gaunts ghosts in chapter approved 2003, they can take missile launchers.... just not lascannons. pretty sure the big GW used to make ghosts models...

Yea, a whole... what, five different models?

Making an army out of the models that GW made would be awfully repetitive, not to mention expensive... If you really want the army, go with converting them.

Go with greenstuffed cloaks.
And you can make great variations with FB, Cadian and Catachan parts.
And quite a bit of the green stuff.

Is greenstuff easy to mould? I have seen an entire Horus model created (100% greenstuff) on coolminiornot.com once... Was awsome.

Some people find it easy to use, others have a heck of a time with it. Personally, I love the stuff. As long as you make sure that your tools are wet (or have a bit of spit/vasaline on them) and that you mix it correctly, you should be fine. Start small, though.

Yeah i just started useing green stuff on my models and i've made a bag, hair, a cigar, two ammo boxes, and a lame attempt at tile flooring.
If you want tips theres a tutorial on GW thats pretty good, If your not so good with the green stuff then you could buy some vampire cloaks for $1.50 each at

I would try the green stuff first at least. Just make ure to rip off small amounts cause it can really stretch out.

Also in the books dont the ghosts usually rely on other regiments for the tank killing, I mean they take out light tanks and apparently a chaos baneblade but i dont think that would work in the game, What if you used Cadian Heavy weapon squads and said that they were a special detachment or something. Otherwise you'll get run over by other imperial gaurd and SM and Chaos SP tanks... and mabye orks sometimes to. (Looted vehicles!!!!!)
