Default special and heavy weapons combinations

I just read the thread about best heavy weapons and it made me wonder what the combinations are that work well between the squad's heavy and special weapons. I was thinking that the Grenade Launcher pairs off best with most heavies, but what about plasma and meltas? I like meltas a lot, but it seems to me that the either the melta will be useless because it is too far away, or the accompanying heavy weapon will be useless because it is moving to get the Melta closer. Flamers look like a good fill-in-the-gaps weapon if I have a bigger heavy weapon like a lascannon or missile in my squad, because it's not such a big loss and if he only gets one or two shots in a game at least you know he will hit a lot of badguys with it.
These are the combinations I have tried:

Missile Launcher/Grenade Launcher (mid-level punch)
Autocannon/Grenade Launcher (mid-level punch)
Lascannon/Flamer (stay away from my lascannon!)
Lascannon/Melta (ultimate anti-tank) - best in an Armored Fist
Heavy Bolter/Plasma (dice are nice)

Sure there are not a lot of viable combinations, but I am curious what you guys have found works.

Plasmaguns go well with krak missiles for some good anti smurf work. Grenade launchers do OK as well.
Autocannons go well with plasmaguns or grenade launchers for anti transport work.
Due to their range and preferred target (heavy tanks), flamers and meltas go very bad with lascannons.. If anything, take a plasmagun with it so the squad can also be turned on heavy infantry.
Heavy bolters are anti light infantry weapons, so they go best with grenade launchers or flamers. Including a heavy bolter with a squad that is armed with a meltagun is a good idea, but that is just so that it isn't useless if the squad isn't in a position to advance.

The thing i love about Armoured fists is you can shoot their special and heavy weapons from the top hatch. Therefore a Lascannon/melta option works well when dealing with close up tanks. Or for the ultimate in anti-infantry set out your chimera like this:
-Turret HB
-Hull HB
-Pintle mounted Stubber/stormbolter

and then give your AF a heavy bolter and flamer. Makes a good job great.

Hardly ideal is it? First of all, you can only fire 1 weapon out of the top hatch, not two. Secondly, the squad counts as having moved if the vehicle moved so you can't close on the enemy and fire the lascannon at the same time. Seeing as a melta doesn't become effective untill you're within 6", you'll want to be moving as much as you can - and the cost of a lascannon really is to high to only use it once or maybe twice in a 6-turn game. Added to that, if you shoot out of the top hatch, the chimera counts as being open-topped the next turn for terms of shooting, which is pretty bad news for a squad that doesn't want to become entangled...

gl/ml, mg/ml, gl/hb,or fl/hb are my usual combos on the special weapons and heavy weapons, but i rarely max out my squads like that.
