Default 1732nd Council of War

The Council of War is the main round table of commanders for the 1732nd- every Junior Officer to the Senior Generals send in information hourly and receive it by the minute. Those who send information are often Sergeants and field appointed troopers. Over time, it has been found that normal lasguns are not the most effective weapon in a city; their metallic counterparts- shotguns, are. This has led to a series of inventions and modifications that help the common footsoldier do thier job better- sweep the city. Not everyone is completely convinced though (the main point against it being that in large areas, the weapons preform poorly compared to their counterparts), so few forces have switched to them; one of them being the 1732nd.
Rules are as follows:

1732nd Council of War: Officers
Same statlines and +10 points costs on Heroic Senior Officers, Senior Officers, and Junior Officers.
Council of War: Close Quarters Decree
All units of IG Guardsmen in the same platoon (this includes other squads in the same platoon) may exchange their lasguns for shotguns.

Not much I know... but I still wonder- wouldn't shotguns or a lasgun variant of a shotgun be better for the closed quarters of Cityfights?

They're supposed to be a series of special characters you can take instead of officers...
