Put a lot of indirect weapons in there. Mortars will chew up his kroot and FW like no other. See if you can add a Griffon in there as well. Get rid of some Lascannons as well. Otherwise, your list looks pretty good. The broadsides will do absolutely jack against all those infantry. Deep strike your stormies in by his broadsides and hit 'em hard. As said earlier, mortars hitting his kroot should force some kroot squads to get pinned. Invest in some Mls and you should be good to go.

But seriously, a Guardsman, I'm willing to bet, could a) outshoot me, b) give me the beating of my life, and c) shove more squad-based tactics down my throat than I'd ever care to digest. Guard are hard, hard men. Whether or not GW's inconsistent, Marine-worshipping fluff keeps with that, mkay?

Real men fight in tanks!

yes take some lascannons out and put in mortars in, and also Praise him for being an idiot for putting the AFB(the Air fragment weapon on someone with BS5... when it is an auto hit weapon....(most suited for a Shas'vre...)

maybe you could get a basilisk and hide it behind some terain and give them the indirect fire rule this would be good for taking out his battle suits as he will most probabilly using 'jump shoot jump' tactic

Looks pretty good. You lucked out with the hammerhead having a Ion cannon and not a rail gun. those sub ordinance are deadly.

if you do this, make sure you have some of your forces around it to stop those stealthies ambushing it(and beware of deepstrikers, they will haunt your vehicles)

100% right, if i was that tau player i would be packing it, laying down a smack down of templates one after the other while my suits take out all vehicle threats and FW shooting at squads that can hurt hammerhead. do find out what you can do to prevent this, i gareentee he will be thinking this.....

My advice is to drop the Stormie squad (you have enough Anti 2+ with the lascannons) and put in a Hellhound. I will go against the trend and say leave in the Lascannons (as you will need long range of AP 2 weapons for the Broadsides) and drop out the Heavy Bolters for Motars (as others have pointed out PINNING!!!) even drop out 2 squads if you can get and put in a Basilisk instead (ORNANCE BARAGE PINNING!!!).
