Default should i?

should i start a Imperial Guard army? what are the prose and cons of this army?

It's very expensive! You need 25 guys just for a single Troops choice, but you get a lot for your points plus the tanks are pretty good at what they do as well.

But just bear this in mind... If you like the models and like the background (if your using a pretty standard Regiment that is!) then go for it by all means!

Yep. I have a small army of them... Their fluff is directly linked to that of my Khorne... but anyways, is there any burning questions you want answering?

Guard can be both expensive to buy, and unforgiving on the gaming table. While they are fun to use, I would not suggest you start them unless you have some experience with 40K...

Lol, I wish someone would have told me that... =P My guard were my first, but I must be an exception to the rule, because after I got used to dealing with 5+ saves and flashlights I started to win a ton... been with them for 4 yrs and still counting...
