This may sound like a stupid question, but it wasnt really clear to me in the codex...

When it says "0-3 Stormtrooper squads may be taken as troops", does this mean up to 3 stormtrooper squads making up a single troops choice or 3 seperate troops choices, each containing a single stormtroopers squad?

Actually, I think you'll find it's the latter - there's no such thing as a "Stormtrooper Platoon", so each squad occupies a seperate Troops choice, logically.

Heh, now I am really confused. There was also nothing clarifying this in the codex notes on the GW website, but thank you for your replies to my question.

It means you can choose 0-3 squads of Storm Troopers as Grenadiers (troop choices) these Grenadiers do not have infiltrate or deep strike abilities. Each squad is 1 troop choice. So taking 2 squads of Grenadiers would satisfy the roster requirement

Hmmm, my mistake. I was always pretty sure it was 0-3 squads per troops-choice, seeing as guardsman being 0-5 per troop choice. It seemed logical enough.
It doesn't really matter considering I've never been able to fill up all my troop-choices with guardsman anyway.
