hiyas. i was thinkin about makin an all infantry list for use at local clubs and tournies. im new to guard and not sure if the list is legal or effective. please leave and thoughts/advice. thanks.

doctrines: storm troopers, grenadiers, hardened fighters

hq
junior officer - plasma pistol, ccw
4 guardsmen - 4 plasma guns
2 sentinels - hardened, 2 multi-lasers, 2 hunter killer missiles

elite
10 stormtroopers - 2 plasma guns
(all 3 slots same)

troop
10 grenadiers - 2 plasma guns
(slots 1-3 all same)

fast
2 sentinels - hardened, 2 multi-lasers, 2 hunter killer missiles
(all 3 slots same)

heavy
junior officer - laspistol, ccw
4 guardsmen - 2 plasma guns, missile launcher
6 anti tank - 3 missile launcher
(all 3 slots same)

thats it. all infantry. i dont like tanks, but love sentinels lol. i also love plasma and missiles lol. please leave any advice/comments. thanks.

You need at least another troop choice either infantry platoon or another grenadier squad. But if what you have addes up to 1850 you are in trouble as you will overwhelmed by almost any army. (I am not going to add it up but since he said it is an 1850 list I won't argue)

wow really? there are like 100 guardsmen in the list. ok well 98 to be exact lol. so do i need like 100, 120, more? thanks for the quick reply. =)

Sorry I thought he only had 1x Grenadier Squad. Since most people list their squads individually not (1-3 slot same).

looks extremely solid to me... lots of plasma death and 4+ saves. Should do well in most scenarios.
