Default Conscripts in combat patrol

Can you take these without taking a platoon in combat patrol.

Conscripts are their own platoon minimum 2 squads-max 5 squads. However you can only take 1 platoon of Conscripts for every normal platoon of Guardsman

You can ignore those sorts of rules for CP... totally reasonable fluffwise for some untrained recruits lead by their brutal commissar to investigate a comm relay.

well the rules say armour fist ignore that rule, but thats because of fluff reasons. i highly doubt the imperium uses conscripts in patrols. a giant horde of untrained people stumbling around the forest isn't exactly pathfinders is it. either way thought i wouldn't use them. for a combat patrol either go mobile(armoured fist, sentinels) or static(infantry platoon with autocannons/missile launchers)

You could say they just sent the conscripts out on a long patrol, with a commissar to keep them in line? You know, add some experience to the men?
