Sounds cool!

I'd love to see the pictures... there something nostalgic about tank restoration. I do it myself evry year or so to upate my tanks to my current modelling skill.

I can't wait!

PS: Sorry about the board! It must have been cool! Send my condolences to the owner.

It will be a convertable chimera/hellhound. I have designed a completely scratch built turret with interchangable guns. I have also configured the back to have a clamshell opening rather than the box ends of a normal chimera. It looks very low profile and slick. I'll post picks in another installment of conversion threads when completed through primer. It aint gonna be your daddy's chimera

I'm a little disappointed you're not going to build a Griffon...

Can't play them in tournaments. Besides I need transport for my fist and/or some serious fast attack muscle.

Don't worry, I've enjoyed the restoration so much, I am now seeking derilects to restore rather than build new. I'm scanning ebay daily. Also, if anyone on this board wants to negotiate a deal for their poorly built or badly painted vehicles, I'm more than willing to offer a decent recompense.
