Default Where are the rules for inferno cannons?

Hiya...since reading a reference to the Hellhound's inferno cannon in Imperial Armour Vol 1 I've been trying to find the rules for the inferno cannon. The snippit (which is actually a ruling for the battle cannon infernus shell) says that any infantry unit hit by the infernus shell is forced to make an immediate fall-back move, just as if hit by a Hellhound's inferno cannon. But I can't find any such rule concerning the inferno cannon anywhere, it's not mentioned in the Hellhound entry in Codex: Imperial Guard, and I can find no entry at all for the Hellhound itself in Imperial Armour 1.

Please don't be over-eager to answer this question without reading it properly; I don'y need to know the basic rules for the inferno cannon...I'm asking about this mysterious 'Fall back' rule that seems to be little more than a rumour that has been perpetuated to such an extent that to the common player it is now regarded as an official rule. I've heard that it featured in an issue of White Dwarf some time ago, but I wonder whether it has since been dropped? Does anybody know anything for sure? Where can I find these elusive updated rules?

well it used to be that any squad taking a casualty had to make a fall back move, as if they had taken 25%casualties and failed the test. but they got rid of that in the new codex, which is why tis not in the current codex.

also, gorcyca, read what he says. dont be too over eager to answer, the rules arent in the new codex.

ok, fine. i read it all the way. try forge world, since they all to often have these kind of things on the site. im un aware of ant fall back rule that could be enforced, so if worst comes to worst, save yourself the confusion, and stick to the codex rules.

Damn. Thanks fellas. I'd hoped it hadn't been removed, because it'd make my inferno cannon toting dreadnaughts far more fearsome...but no such luck. :-\

I've searched for ages trying to find this rule; I downloaded the various FAQ documents from Forgeworld, searched fan-sites and even e-mailed Forgeworld direct, but found nothing but obscure references and hints (until now).

Thanks for clearing that up for me Elessar.

Any unit that takes casualties from Infernus shells fall back automatically.

Correction, those are for Infernus shells. As the rule is, technically, out of print now, I see no problem posting it on the forum.
