Default Modeling a Crew Escape Mechanism

I've been thinking of a good way to display this on my tanks, and I don't know if they actually have any of these upgrades already modeled. If they do then this topic is pretty pointless but...

Any suggestions?

Well, the crew could be mounted in a seperate pod from the rest of the tank, and this would require either building up around the outside of the crew compartment with card so that it looks like a "pod" or simply you could add a few extra hatches that the crew could use.

Thats a good idea, maybe I can just make the front of the tank so that it looks like it ejects or something. Or maybe I can just go with the easier make an extra few hatches... still I like the 'pod' idea, time to start cutting up a Leman Russ!

You can patch that up. I suggest that you add stuff to the tank instead of cutting something away. Make the front bit look seperate from the tank by using card to create an edge around the crew compartment. It's hard to explain...

Actually I think I get what your saying,... kind of make it so it looks like the front part is just latched onto the read chasis?
