Look on the book artwork; black with camo-cloak.

Gaunt is the only "official" character for the First and Only now. You need your opponent's permission to use any others.

As for modelling... don't use Catachans. Or Cadians. Use Tanith models.

The actual tanith models make a great looking army but can become very expensive money wise.

But if you don't have the money to get them Catachan models with a few conversions (i.e. capes, possibly giggle-hats) make a good looking force too

Gaunt is a special character so you need his permission(your opponents not gaunts) to use him wether the first and only characters are official or not

they're very expensive pointwise aswell so i wouldn't take them unless you really like the fluff.

You don't need permission. Nowhere in the Codex does it say you need permission.

It's hard to find Tanith models and the only varities are three models, and most tanith armie i've seen have used catachans with cloaks and hoods, i mean an army wouldn't look to good if every third model was the same

I take that as an insult; my metal-Cadian army only has 3-5 variations for their basic infantryman.

Catachans pretending to be Tanith look appauling. Any self-respecting Tanith players would use the real minis.

I meant metal Tanith, and Catachans when moddeled properly can look quiet nice as tanith
