Default Other Leman Russes

I keep hearing about lots of Leman Russ variations, like the Exterminator and Griffin. Are these Forgeworld or are they actual official rules? If so, where are the rules and stats for them?

The two you mention are old models that have been dropped from the codex, their rules are in FW's IA1 alongside the Executioner (plasma russ) and Conquorer (less useful non-ordnance battlecannon)
The griffon is a large mortar based off the Chimera chassis though, not a leman russ.

Official rules if used in an armoured company I think, but not in an infantry one (i.e codex guard).

Codex: Impeiral Guard Edition 3 has the rules for the Vanquisher and the Exterminator, as well as the Griffon. Here are all the battle tank variants I know of...
Leman Russ
Vanquisher
Exterminator
Demolisher
Conqueror
Destroyer
Exterminator

Artillary:
Bombard

Thats pretty much it...

If your wondering a cool fact, all LR Battle tanks have a name having to do with destroying something.
All Chimera variants have animal names: Salamander, Griffon, Basilisk, hydra, Medusa etc.

I think it's more continutity... the Marine tanks continue the theme.

Main tanks: Anihilator, Destructor, Vindicator, Crusader
Support/Transport: Rhino, Razorback, Whirlwind (that's an exception)...

...not sure about the LR Helios, though.

IAvol1 is brilliant if you want Russ variants. Not all of them are points-efficient, mind...

only problem is that its a fixed weapon, it be more effective if it would aim better. The way its placed it can only fire at things infront of it. the leman russes are pretty good at their own roles, the exterminator for example can rip right through infantry and still remain mobile. and demolishers can take down anything at close range. but if your using an armoured comapny though vanquishers are useles(but the stygies pattern vanquisher is just about the coolest tank model in the whole range) and executioners are way over-priced
