The results are in... and there aren't many. Due to the low scores, and even lower entries, no Karma has been awarded. Try harder next time, people!

1) During the Horus Heresy, two counterfiet tanks, the Glaive and Falchion, were produced in large numbers. What are these vehicles counterfiets of?
Glaive = Baneblade.
Falchion = Shadowsword.
Nobody got this right. Most of the answers were for Space Marine vehicles...

2) Name four types of Titan (do not confuse Type with Class or Pattern).
Scout Titan, Battle Titan, Psi-Titan and Emperor Titan were the correct answers.

I got a lot of Classes of Titan (eg: Warhound, Reaver, etc).

3) Name the super-heavy War Machine designed for blitzkrieg assaults against trench lines.
Stormhammer.

4) Name the super-heavy War Machine most commonly constructed from damaged Shadowswords.
Stormsword.

5) Name two super-heavy Command Vehicles.
The answers I was looking for were Leviathan and Capitol Imperialis.

However, I would have accepted Emperor/Imperiator Titan, and I would also have accepted any Super-Heavy if you pointed out Tank Commanders can usually pick their own tanks.

6) Give the name of a Loyalist Titan Legion.
There are plenty of answers to this... everybody got it.

7) Which forgeworlds produce Shadowsword and Stormblade super-heavy tanks? (This question is asked in general terms, not specific terms).
Another case of nobody reading the question...

Mars and Ryza are Forgeworlds. They are specific Forgeworlds... which I didn't want.

The answer was "Any Forgeworld with a Titan Legion".

8) Which Titan includes the Mastif pattern?
Warhound.

9) Which Titan includes the Nemesis pattern?
Warlord.

10) Name a super-heavy tunneller.
Hellbore.

Moles and Termites are not super-heavy, so I didn't accept them.

11) Name a Sentinel variant deployed in a non-combatant role.
Power Lifter.

12) Name a Chimera variant deployed in a non-combatant role.
Trojan.

13) Name a Leman Russ variant deployed in a non-combatant role.
Atlas.

14) Name an artillery piece based on the Leman Russ chassis.
Bombard.

15) Name the Forgeworld which, prior to its fall to Orks, was the primary producer of the Leman Russ Vanquisher.
Tigrus.

Tie Break Question:
Which is the greatest War Machine available to the Imperium, and why?

The winning answer goes to Andromandius, for this answer:

Faith, because without the Emperor we are all lost.

So the results are:

Zoomer: 14/22
Tefnik: 13/22
Andromandius: 12/22
Arguleon Veq: 10/22

Well done to Zoomer for winning.

about the last question, while faith is the most important thing in the imperial guard, or really any army, it still isn't a war machine.

...the fact you need to ask this question shows you understand nothing about the Guard, or the Imperium.

the fact that you need to say that shows your hatred for anyone who isn't a 10 year 40k veteran.

Hmm... Less correct than I'd imagined. That "classes" question really threw me, I'll admit. Hail, Imperial Epic! Unleash the Stormhammer company! Call down the Doomsday cannons!

Shame more didn't participate, but better luck next time. It might simply have been the questions... Even for an old 1st Gen Epic buff like me, it took a good bit of doing to get some of those answers.

Thanks, and cheers to all!

The fact you risk - karma by arguing such a thing shows you guys are taking big risks.

Wargamer, I must say you are very VERY smart when it comes to fluff and such. I have never heard of half of this stuff!

A question: when is teh next IG quiz? Because I am almost done with it!

I'm not 100% sure on that answer. Seems weird that only Forge Worlds with Titan Legions would build Super Heavy Tanks...I'd of thought any and all Forge Worlds and heavily industrialised worlds would make them.

Then again, I have nothing to back up my opinion, so I won't make anything out of it. Makes no difference to my score anyway!
