Oh yeah I need to whittle this down to 1500 or add upto 1750, anyhelp anyone?

Well, firstly, you can't have veteran squads in platoons; they are separate troops choices. That shaves off 40 points due to the loss of the 2nd platoon command squad.

You could take off the dual heavy bolters from each valkyrie, as they will not be able to move and fire them. That's another 20 points down.
