Default Foot-slogging List for a "Death Note" Tournament

Alright, I've been using this list for awhile. It's good but I need more practice. Anyway, this Nuke 'Em Tournament is just like a normal tournament but everyone has a Nuclear Bomb which represented by a Dinner Plate Template (5" in diameter or 2.5" in radius) which kills everything under it. So, what you guys think of this list and Nuclear Bomb? :P

My only complaint is that the Nuclear Bomb is a bit unrealistic. The large template is nowhere near big enough to represent a proper nuke, but I guess it can't be too powerful for balance.

Nice list. I like the idea, but I think it's also illegal.

In your each of your infantry platoons, you have what looks like two 10-man squads and three 6-man squads. I assume those 6-man squads are meant to be remnants squads, but you can only have one per platoon.

Aside from that, I think the list will work well, I would just combine those remnants squads into full strength squads to make it legal.

++EDIT++ The Nuke 'Em Tournament sounds like a neat idea. Good luck.

The list looks like it's fine if you consolidate the remnant squads.

The Nuke idea is simply moronic though. If you want to stop cheese than straight up say certain builds can't be brought to the tournament. Some armies are going to suffer greatly, while yours barely cares. Any army that needs to hide a character to be really effective (like an ork Big Mek with a force field) is going to have that unit sniped. Any army that takes a very small very elite unit is going to screwed as well, especially if that unit has a transport. My brother likes to take a Wolf Guard Battle leader with a large retinue of power weapon wielding Wolf Guard mounted in a Crusader. The unit combined comes out to almost 600 points. In a normal game he's managed to skillfully use it to far greater effect than I would have predicted (my first thought was that it's a massive point sink). On the charge it annihilates virtually everything it touches, but he's paying through the nose for it, and it's hardly cheesy. With these rules you could wipe out a third of his army on the first turn.

I think I should have mentioned that was an idea still brewing and the Organizer has decided NOT to give us Nuclear Bombs.

Anyway, though the tournament is called "Death Note", there's nothing out of ordinary about this tournament. The Head Organizer just wants to mess with us when we signed up :P Anyway, I've decided to go with an experimental "easy-to-use" list.

Basic Strategy;
Spearhead the advance with Armor followed by Infantry while Basilisk clears out hidden units like Crisis Suits and Guardian Jetbikes. But if my opponent is Assault-orientated like Orks, I can instead position the Infantry in front to protect the Armor as it blast the Orks away.

Looking very solid, you've got one problem though, and that's the platoon commands cannot take banners, frees you up some points though.

Oh right. I'll use the points to give my Officers the Iron Discipline Doctrine then
