Heres just a idea i came up with when i read the catachan codex* (note- yarrik and the greyknight hero are allowed due to the apoc. rules). tell me what you guys think
![]() HQ Commander korvack- cannon(count as grey knight hero due to the fact of his ork tooth spear* a.k.a. nemesis force weapon) Captian Hook(yarrik on the fact of his mutated hand which looks like a huge claw) Elites Sniper team- 3 snipers Sniper team- 3 snipers Sniper team- 3 snipers Troops Platoon 1 Captain- storm bolter, medallion crimson, power sword Squad 1- 9 vets, 1 flamer, missile launcher, sergeant Squad 2- 9 vets, 1 flamer, missile launcher, sergeant Squad 3- 9 vets, 1 flamer, missile launcher, sergeant Full Fire support squad- 3 heavy bolters ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Platoon 2 Captain- storm bolter, medallion crimson, power sword Squad 1- 9 vets, 1 flamer, missile launcher, sergeant Squad 2- 9 vets, 1 flamer, missile launcher, sergeant Squad 3- 9 vets, 1 flamer, missile launcher, sergeant Full Fire support squad- 3 heavy bolters ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Platoon 3 Captain- storm bolter, medallion crimson, power sword Squad 1- 9 vets, 1 flamer, missile launcher, sergeant Squad 2- 9 vets, 1 flamer, missile launcher, sergeant Squad 3- 9 vets, 1 flamer, missile launcher, sergeant Full Fire support squad- 3 heavy bolters Fast Attack Sentinel Team- 3 sentinels, extra armour, hunter killer missiles, smoke launchers Sentinel Team- 3 sentinels, extra armour, hunter killer missiles, smoke launchers Sentinel Team- 3 sentinels, extra armour, hunter killer missiles, smoke launchers Heavy Support Full mortar squad- 3 mortars Full mortar squad- 3 mortars Total=3000 Commander Korvack is known for fighting* uruk thrakas right hand orkand knocking his tooth out, he was wounded though and narrowly escaped but brought the tooth with him having fogred into a spear, he seems to have a huge amount of luck representing his 2+ save. His cannon his pure energy from the emperor himself being launched out of his hands(i know not fluffy at all but i need an excuse). Captian hook was fighting a massive demon of tzeentch, the demon cast a spell on him mutating his right arm into a massive claw. He was about to be executed to do his mutation but he said give him 100 days and he would hunt down the greater demon , on the 100 day he returned with the demons talon proving he one the bet and being able to still serve in the imperium, the army as a whole has countlesy combated the orks on armageddon and demons from various battlefields making them the most skilled catachan army yet to be created.

Not a bad list. Although I have no idea why you took a flamer and ML in the same squad. One or the other will be rendered useless every turn.
Luck is usually granted by an invulnerable save. I say make him a normal Colonel and give him a retractor field, a power weapon (as a force weapon is a psychic weapon and catachans are known more for their untouchable qualities than their psykers). Not bad other wise, i'm in love with sentinels so i like that part the most lol. I'll be making the sentinel squadron from the Apoc book eventually for my blood pacters.

Thanks, i just thought that i would use missle launchers for tightly packed long range targets such as my friends grey knights,landraider, and greatknarlocs while the flamer is to be used if any of his kroot make it to me(flame and then make a desperate glory charge if the situation is fit), as you might notice, i took alot of heavy weapons (9 heavy bolters, 6 mortars, 9 missile launchers, 8 hunter killer missiles, and 9 heavy flamers) this is because i saw a picture of this little sand bag bunker with a heavy bolter on it and i thought it would be cool if the catachan used all these heavy weapons to defend the jungle borders from incoming feral orks and ghazgulls(not sure exactly how to spell his name) orks retreating into the jungle.

Do you think this list will have trouble agianst kroot with knarlocs and greyknights with a small inducted guard force(my friend isnt skilled with guard so i dont need to worry about the guard)

Hard to say. At such high point levels tactics usually go out the window and the game becomes a slaughter fest.
