Especially in Guard lists. You seem to want this unit to maintain LD with the Master Vox but you've kitted them out for combat, where they will die. I'd drop the 2 normal Vets and just have them as regular guys with Carapace and 2CC Weps if you really want this squad for combat and for them to have Carapace. At least you will be cutting a few points. '~Fire Support Squad~ x2 Heavy Bolter x1 Autocannon Total:85 ~Anti Tank Squad~ x2 Missile Launcher x1 Lascannon Total:100' I really wouldn't mix weapons. I don't think 6 man squads are a good place for expensive Lascannons either but it looks like you want to keep your regular infantry quite mobile so this is the only place for them. Take 3 Heavy Bolters and 3 Lascannon, don't mix. '~Stormtrooper~ Veteran Sarge -Power Weapon -Hellpistol Grenade Launcher Flamer x7 Hellguns Total:125' I would always double up on special weapons, again, don't mix. I'd probably go for twin Plasma, then you have a unit that is decent at 24" against MEQ's and it doubles its effectiveness at 12". '~Junior Officer~ -Master Crafted Bolter -Refractor Field Total:71 ~Command Squad~ x2 Grenade Launcher x1 Mortar Team All with frags Total:31' Lose the master crafting and Refractor Field. If you want this squad advancing with your other infantry drop the Mortar, if you want it for fire-support drop the Grenade Launchers. '~Chimera~ Hull Heavy Bolter Turret Multilaser Pintle Heavy Stubber Smoke Launcher Hunter Killer Missile Total:110' Drop the Hunter Killer and Heavy Stubber, both not worth it. These changes give you 132 points to play with; For that you could get another Infantry squad and a Sentinel with an Autocannon.
