Exclamation Flames of promethian (gue'vesa marines)

hey these are the rules and rough fluff outline for my gue'vesa marines -and before you moan at me thta it can't be done for fluff reasons just read the damn thing-.

The flames of promethians are a former chapter of the imperium they used to be inquisitors- a bit like for a way of describing and i don'y like this word the gestapo (think thats how you spell it) until one day the now inqusition turned on them and tried to blow them out of existence destroyng 4 hive cities in the proccess so they well the personal sergeons and scientist fleed the imperium classed as outlaws and and wanted at all costs died or alive it didn't matter. They got away on a carrgo freigter supplying the outer edge of the imperium and then hitch a ride on to the edge of the soon to come Tau empire. where theygrew in numbers, refined there technlogy not suceptable to the tech heresy of the imperium and there Guerillla tactics against the imperium and with there ties with the techs of mars resived a few thunder hawk gunships for keeping there forces and bases of Ops mobile along with the few valkyries they had robbed from a naval yard and a few other things.

Special rules for know: (for themo)

due to there limited numbers they have refined there technology and they have made specilast amunition for there bolters all bolter are classed as having sternguard amunition.

thats all i can remember for the tim being will get back to you latter when i remember.

-maddosammo-

also please get back to me and tell me what you think and before ou tel me its over powered it to play my mate. (just read some of my other threads)

I like their story and it gives them motivation and reason to join tau to a certain point with a bit more refinement/detail i could believe this hate made up rules though so i wouldn't "play" them but a good idea.

If you say your not a fluff writer, that was pretty good. Normally renegade chapters turn to chaos but not all. yeah, it was good. (I like to read alot of fluff, and I want to make my own but I'm a little stuck for ideas)

yeah, I would help you out

(hope you dont mind maddo my fingers just kinda went to the keys)
"Brother Amos Dolingua if I may ask why do we place our roll with these aliens. Have we truly fallen so far as to throw in with those who would undo everything that so many have sacrificed so much to build?"
"Brother Rugra, think if you will about the situation we first found ourselves in and then look at how we find ourselves now. First we had nothing but our knowledge and skills yet they made us welcome. Now in addition to that they have many formerly Imperium planets under their rule that are still well populated by humans giving us an excellent source of finding truly deserving new brotheres. Also keep in mind that they are in conflict with the Imperium not only giving us a chance at revenge but a chance to gather both battle field salvage war materials but the gene seed from the other chapters further strengthening and empowering ourselves. Finally brother, they honestly mean to do something positive and build towards the future not just fight against encrouching doom. How could we not at least try to aid what may bring about a rise and renewal of...everything."
"I had not thought of such thing Brother Amos Dolingua. Thank you."

And yes Maddo it is a good start, has definite potential for expansion and possible use. Just be careful not to over/off balance things. Keep it playable to where others will want to fight your guys. If they are a part of the Tau now you might want to work up integration fluff, like how they could now utilize kroot mercenaries to bolster their numbers when/if needed against appropriate foes, or employ vespid to battle their former brothers/fellow space marines... Just thoughts.

sp? My computer lingo is decidedly lacking.

I'll have to do some additional research for proper terminology as well but sure, I'll toss in the occasional piece as I am able. Not sure what direction you wish things to go though.
