Light Railgun Crisis Suits Mod
I have a friend who's willing to play mods. I was thinking that I really would like the ability to fire a railgun on a mobile suit. What about a gun an option to put a light railgun on a crisis suit for 30pts? which would be a 50" str 8 ap 2 assault 1. I don't have my codex to look at now, but I'm thinking that there should be some other drawback. Comments?

drop the range to like 48" and give it gets hot and it would probably be fair

u probably would also leave it as a heavy weapon, i know it sounds bad, but railrifles and railguns are heavy, so something imbetween the two should also be heavy. but no, ap should be two, the strength and ap are right, it is exactly between rifle and gun. u should probably play test the rules as heavy or assault. let us know how it goes and what u plan on doing for the conversion

You could use somthing like the rail rifle and then give it rapid fire claiming that there are more of them or some thing.
